Half way there!

Well, I hope a picture actually is worth a thousand words, because I can't think of much to say about this one. I think you can see it! We're right at the half way point, which is crazy to think about. I'm still feeling good, and don't need quite as many cheeseburgers or as much sleep to keep me going these days. We really enjoyed our time off over the holidays and the time we got to spend with family and friends. Dave is quite anxious to get back to work though, especially after the number of trips he made up to the attic today with the Christmas decorations! I'll post another update after the doctor's appointment next week.

And more gifts....

Here we have the entire Bengals wardrobe. Again, not too girly, but sure to be worn regardless! I'll have to look for some Bengals hair bows if necessary!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! This is a picture of our child's first Christmas presents. And it's still 4 days till Christmas! I can't imagine how many gifts this child will get when he/she is actually able to be present to open them! No girly gifts yet. We'll see if that means anything! Probably just that our girl will look a little odd in a "dude" shirt. Everything is still going well. At my doctor visit last week the nurse guessed it was a boy based on the heartrate, or so she said. We have our next ultrasound appointment on January 11th. We should be able to find out then if he is a she or she is a he! No new picture of me yet, I still look about the same. I'll post a new one of those around the 1st of the year. We'll be out of town visiting family and friends for the holidays. We hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas!

4 months...

So now you can tell there's something going on! I feel like I expanded overnight. On Thursday, there wasn't much to see and Friday morning was another story! I'm 15 weeks along now, so right in the middle of the 4th month. I can still manage to fit into most of my clothes, but they are snug to say the least. Otherwise, all is well!

First Picture

Well, here it is...the first picture! The ultrasound today was pretty amazing. I had no idea we would see as much detail as we did. We got to sit there and watch the baby flip around, and kick and wave. You can see the picture pretty easily I think, but if you can't this picture is actually upsidedown. The baby was doing a headstand. I flipped it around to make it easier to see. But, you can see the head, body, and bent knees. In the actual picture you can clearly see the little feet too!

What's new....

Well, Heather asked for more.....so here it is. I don't have any new pictures yet, so there's nothing to look at, but I'll give you an update as to how things are going. I feel good. I eat, work, eat, sleep, eat, sleep, work, and repeat. That's about it. The days of nachos have passed and I have moved on to bigger and better things like burgers - preferably Five Guys, and wings - honey bbq at bw3's. You wouldn't believe how much food I can eat...I've even impressed myself. We will go to the doctor on Tuesday for the first ultrasound. If there are any less than 5 humans inside of me, I will seriously wonder where all the food is going. Obviously, I am very much looking forward to Thanksgiving this year!
Dave is doing a great job keeping up with me. He is sick of Mexican food, but still tolerates it as need be. He refers to the baby as a He, and is frequently coming up with some different names. His favorite is still Colt, which I do think is a great name for a Texas quarterback or a four-legged animal. Seeing as how we are not having either of those, (nor will we name our kid after any of the Dukes of Hazzard characters) we are still open for suggestions.
Well, it's dinnertime, (yes, really it is!) so I'll wrap this up. I'll try to post some new pictures and an update next week after the doctor's visit.

Dave's swearing in

Today, Dave had his swearing in ceremony for the Virginia State Bar. It was loooong, but good. This is us after it was all over. Yeah!!! No more bar exams!

Well, Heather, you were right. It's not that hard to blog! So now you can all watch me grow. Here's the first picture. This was Dave's first reaction to the big news. I'd say he's happy! Well, more pictures coming soon!
