A Weekend Trip

Last weekend we went to Cincinnati to visit family and friends, and also so Dave could go to the Bengals vs. Steelers game. Luckily (or rather miraculously) the Bengals won which made for a very pleasant trip home! I have decided that I am no good at taking pictures on the road. I get home and have the most random collection of pictures. Oh well. Here are a few from our trip.This was on the shuttle bus from the airport to the rental car. A New Look!

So, do you like the new look? Makes me realize how "blah" it was before! Thanks to Jason, Grace and Bryce for the Blog Makeover birthday gift! There were a million design kit choices and after looking through them for hours the kit I picked ended up not being available. This was my quick second choice and I think it turned out better than the first one would have! And here's a random picture to go along with it...One of Chase's favorite new things to do is to get in the crib and play with Bryce after he wakes up from a nap. Luckily, Bryce likes it too! I just hope he will have half as much fun with his baby sister as he does with his cousin

Feeding the Ducks

We took Chase to feed the ducks yesterday afternoon. Apparently this is not something you are supposed to do. Luckily we didn't see the "Do Not Feed the Ducks & Geese" sign until after we had finished off our 3 slices of bread. Seriously if you can't feed the ducks at a park why have them there, right?

Swinging & A Cupcake

The weather here has been wonderfully cool the last couple of days, so we've been able to get outside more than usual. I've been kind of pathetic with the hot weather recently and make Chase wait until later in the day to go out even though he stands at the door pointing out from about noon on. Today he sat in his chair and watched Bryce swing and pushed him as needed. He also waved to all the cars that drove by and showed about half of them his belly button too, just in case they were interested.When Grace came to pick up Bryce this afternoon we were standing in the dining room talking, and meanwhile Chase was behind us in the kitchen and had opened the bakery bag Grandma dropped by and was eating the cupcake - paper and all.
