Christmas, Easter, Check-Up & Sun!

It has been a good couple of weeks for Chase and Taylor. They celebrated a belated Christmas with one set of grandparents over the past weekend and also got an Easter package in the mail from another set of grandparents. It is good to have lots of grandparents! I'm guessing the suitcase in the package was just a small hint that we need to visit all these grandparents more often!! We are working on saving up enough energy and courage for our first two-child road trip soon - we need to fly before Chase turns 2 and has to get his own seat! Dave says he might have to stay one a little longer :)

Opening Christmas presents...

Another new outfit! Sitting with Grandma.Taylor went to the doctor this week for her 4 month check-up. As you might imagine she is growing just fine. She almost looks bigger than Chase in this picture - she's really not that big!! She is 15lbs7oz -90th percentile and 25 3/4in - 95th percentile. In the last couple of days she has really started rolling over more and she is sitting up pretty well in the highchair or exersaucer. She bounces up and down in your lap trying to get down to the floor to play with Chase - it won't be long! Now that Taylor can sit in the highchair - even though she can't eat anything yet - Chase likes to fix her "unch" as he calls it. She giggles each time he puts something on the tray! And finally, it's warm!! We headed out to the backyard today for a picnic and playing. Chase and Bryce have so much fun together and Taylor loves watching them!

Twinkle, Twinkle

Chase sings "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" all day long and I finally convinced him to do it for the camera! Now he just wants to watch himself over and over and over.....

A Weekend Visit

This past weekend we enjoyed a visit from "egg" and "bell" (as Chase calls them) a.k.a Megan and Kerry. Chase and Taylor really liked all the extra attention and were sad to see them go! The sad ride to the airport :(

4 Months

Taylor has reached the big 4 months! She won't go to the doctor for her check-up for another couple of weeks, but I'm certain she is growing a little too well! To celebrate the milestone I pulled the exersaucer out of the attic...she hates it. I guess she's still a bit small for it, but I just thought she might be tired of looking at the ceiling all the time. Chase on the other hand loved it - probably more now than he ever did when he was supposed to! Both of them kind of have crazy hair in the next picture. And for those of you who only get to see Taylor on the blog I flipped her around so you can appreciate the lovely mullet she seems to have grown! Poor girl - we keep waiting for her hair to grow on top but it's just not happening!
On the particular day pictured below I referred to these two as the "pacifier bandits". It is amazing how much mess they can make in no time at all! It is also amazing how much fun they can have with junk-mail.
