Happy Thanksgiving!

Santa

We had a chance encounter with Santa last night! We went to dinner at the new seafood restaurant at Bass Pro Shop and while we were waiting for our table we got to have a quick visit with Santa. At first Chase didn’t know what to think, but once he found the beard, it was all fun and games. Luckily, it wasn’t a fake - although poor Santa was probably wishing it was! I made the mistake of commenting about how appropriately dressed Chase was for a photo with Santa that had a moose in the background. Turns out that is most likely a reindeer…who knew!

Prunes

So, out of neccessity Chase's introduction to the world of real food involved prunes. And once again he proved, that yes, he will eat ANYTHING. He actually liked them and they did the trick. We tried bananas next, which he wouldn't touch. Last night he had sweet potatoes -currently his top choice! I think we'll have to get the high chair out of the attic this weekend, Chase's thighs barely squeeze into the bumbo chair anymore. And while Chase couldn't enjoy the Halloween candy this year, he managed to get a good taste of his Halloween card. Yum.

Cool Dude

Thanks to Aunt Betty and Cousin Missy for sending Chase this cool shirt. It says "Dude, your girlfriend keeps checking me out." It gets alot of laughs. And, the stroller shot is one of my personal favorites. Chase does not like to have the sun in his eyes, so recently when we've taken him out for a walk we put his shades on him. He loves them and he has no idea how funny he looks!
