It's a ....

We found out on Wednesday that Baby #2 is a sister for Chase! Believe it or not, this one might get a name before she gets here. We have to keep you waiting a little bit though, right?

Swimming...again

Swimming is my new favorite activity. As I type Chase has been asleep for nearly an hour (14 minutes longer than a typical nap!) and if yesterday's swimming is any indication, we have about another hour to go. This is the first thing that is able to wear him out besides 3 hours at VBS, but that wore me out too!This is Chase and Max looking out the front door together. I think they both look for the same things; cats, cars and mostly people to pay attention to them!

More Baby....

So if you couldn't see much of the baby in the last picture, I think you can in this one! We went to Justin & Beth's wedding on Saturday at Lewis Ginter - a very nice time. Unfortunately the best picture we had of the two of us is this one - who would take a picture at this angle....mom?! So just tilt your head a little....I was taking pictures with Grace's camera for most of the evening so if you want to see any actual wedding pictures you'll have to check out Bryce's blog. (I didn't do much better than mom, so there's not too many pictures of anything!)

More Swimming

So this is why everyone keeps saying, "oh you just wait" when they see that Chase is now walking. I looked away for maybe 10 seconds to get my phone out of my pocket and he had ditched the lawn mower and hopped in for a quick swim. Oh well, I'm sure this is just a warm-up for things to come!

"Swimming"

This is Chase's new favorite outdoor activity. He will obviously hop right in with the water still coming out of the hose. It was freezing cold, but he didn't care. I think we might need to go hat shopping. This one is a leftover from last summer that still somewhat fit on his head. I think it looked a little better on a baby. He can't quite pull it off, but it serves the purpose!

Baby #2

So, here is baby #2 at 18 weeks. You can tell by the smile on Chase's face that he has absolutely no idea what is going on!

Warm Weather and Walking

It was HOT today, so after I got home from work I set out the sprinkler for Chase to play in. He wouldn't get near the water on purpose, but as you can tell he accidentally got in the way several times. It was enough to keep him cool. He loves pushing his lawnmower around the yard. If only it actually cut the grass, we'd be in business! He is also still a big fan of the playset. He likes to stand at the top and spin the wheel around and around and around!

Chase has really started walking this week. Several of his fans (ok, grandparents) have requested a video of him walking, so by popular demand here it is. He is all over the place these days. Poor thing looks like he has no legs though. Those really are shorts, it's just hard to tell! We might have to shorten them up.

PS - Yes Heather, I realize baby #2 has been blog-neglected. There is definitely baby to see, so I'll try to get a picture up this weekend. We go on June 24th to find out he or she!
