Merry Christmas!

Dave's family was able to visit with us for a few days before Christmas. The snowstorm made them change their travel plans, but once they got here we had a great time. Below are a few pictures from their visit. Megan has MANY, MANY more pictures on Facebook.
This was an attempt to fit Taylor in the suitcase so they could take her with them!
The pictures below I tried to copy from Megan, but they all showed up really little...not sure how to fix that!

This is a video of Chase dancing to his new "Handy Manny" toolbox music!

Snow!

Anxiously waiting for it to stop snowing so he can go out and play. Do you know how many times a one-year old can say "snow" in a day.....ALOT!Finally gets outside and stands like this for about 10 minutes.....saying "snow" over and over.

Decides it might be fun to actually touch the snow!
Chase's new best friend - an inflatable snowman. It arrived in the mail last week from his grandparents and if Chase is awake, the snowman is up! Most people keep theirs outside but we would all be frozen by now so ours stays in the living room!

Santa Photo

So you can probably guess that Chase wasn't really feeling the whole Santa thing last night! We didn't really think he would go for it and well, he didn't, so we ended up with the family Santa photo this year. Taylor, on the other hand, thought it was a rather cozy place for a nap!

After Santa we tried to take a picture of the cousins together. A little risky - this is the best picture I managed to get before having to jump back in!

Happy to be back home!

One Month

Hard to believe it's already been a month....ok, during the day it's hard to believe - measuring by nights, I'd believe it! No, it's really not that bad. Lucky for her Chase didn't exactly set the bar too high as far as sleep goes! Taylor got a good report at her one month check-up yesterday. She is up to 10lbs and has grown 3/4 of an inch! I figure one month is long enough for her to be kept safe, so I let Chase "hold" her for the first time today. You can see in the next progression of pictures that he thought it was the best thing ever!I think she is saying, "Mom, seriously, are you letting this happen?"
