Three Amigos

Bryce made his way back to our house this week and Chase & Taylor are loving his company. I think Taylor drives him crazy, but only because she likes him too much. I told Grace that Bryce would be saying, "no, Taylor, no" in his dreams!Three monkeys jumping on the bed.

The mandatory morning meeting at the door to eat donut holes!

"Working"

This is what the boys deal with ALL day long! She never gives up.

Bryce loves Chase's shoe basket and wears many more of the shoes in a day than Chase ever will. He comes out wearing a different combination each time he goes in Chase's room!

Picture Shortage

I have not been good at picture taking recently. I think I need to go to the beach again. I uploaded 25 pictures off of my camera this morning and there was only 1 of Taylor and it was one that Chase had taken, so all you could see were her thigh rolls. The rest were hardly worth sharing. This was the best I could do...

About 2 weeks ago I cleaned about 10 years worth of dust off of the ol' tennis racquet. I got a very part-time, part-time job coaching tennis. I won't name names, but someone might have questioned as to whether or not I was qualified for such a role. Probably not, but oh well. It's very basic stuff and I've hardly had to swing a racquet yet.
Chase has been inspired to learn along with me. This is his frustrated face. He fussed at the ball and told it to stay on the "wacket."

These are the pictures from my first two weeks of camps. In this bottom picture, one of the girls reminded me SO much of Megan. I didn't know Megan when she was 12 years old, but I'm sure this is exactly what she was like. She cracked me up all week long. I'm going to let you figure out which one she is....I think it's obvious, right Megan?!?!

We had a TON of rain a few weeks ago and you would have thought Chase won the lottery when we let him put his boots on and go play outside while it was still pouring. Notice these pictures were taken from inside the front door :)

Finally...More Beach Pictures

Well, we were hoping that her hair would grow....it has.

The classic family photo.
My dad pointed out that Dave wears this exact same outfit in every beach picture...very true.
Picking up the ladies....or lady. And I think Bryce snagged her first. Chase's outfit might be partly to blame for them not attracting more admirers.

At the aquarium and I guess thinking if they hold hands the fish can't get them!
I have a picture of Jason holding Chase while he is screaming in terror of the seals and Jason is laughing hysterically and I would post it, except for Jason would like it too much. Poor Chase.

One of the highlights of the trip for the boys - riding in the car-cart at the grocery store.

Since Dave was at home most of the week my friend Melinda (aka Jumpbooty or Big Mel) came down to spend some time with us. This picture is for you, Heather :)

Appartently our kids are allergic to vacation. Chase got sick with a high fever after we got back from Myrtle Beach and this time he got a fever while we were still there! No fun, but he hung in there. Taylor had it for a few days too, once we got home.
Hopefully they are both back to good now!

At the Beach....again....

One of the best things about staying home with the kids is the flexibility to go to the beach with anyone who will take you (and your noisy kids)! We're at Sandbridge with my family this week while Dave is back home working (and eating food I don't like and watching movies I don't like, remembering what quiet sounds like, etc...)

Apples & A Visit

We have a couple of apple trees and even though the apples are small and sour, Chase has been eating them up. Unfortunately the trees fared about as well as the garden this year, so we're down to just a few apples left. Taylor wishing she had teeth!

We went with my grandma to visit her sister in the nursing home earlier this week. I have taken the kids over there a few times, but this time Bryce went with us and it was the first time I remembered my camera. The people there love to see little kids and all three of them did very well being friendly and well, not freaking out!

Taylor tried to disassemble medical equipment.

Chase helping mop the floors...or playing with a toy trolley he found. He was wiped down from head to toe before he could get back in the car!

Bryce just stuck to chilling in the stroller and eating puffs.

A high-five for the road!

9 months

Happy 9 months to Taylor!
She is crawling now, so she sat still for her pictures for about 1.2 seconds!
She also had her check-up today. She's still big - 20.5lbs-75th percentile and 28 3/4 inches - 90th percentile. I still don't think she's half of what Chase was at this age!
And speaking of Chase...

...you know he had to get in on the action. "My get picture taken too?"
The only problem is that Taylor cannot sit within arms reach of anyone without pulling their hair, so that didn't work out so well!
