Unless you're sitting around with a few spare hours and nothing to do, you might want to skip this one! If you're bored, here's the Thanksgiving trip re-cap in a (large) nutshell! I narrowed 194 pics down to less than 40, not too bad.
First up, another birthday celebration for Taylor!
She wouldn't even look up while we were singing to her.
More presents - her very own princess snuggie.
Taking a break from presents to play some baseball. Cincinnati weather was most-cooperative for our trip. Cincinnati weather does not usually cooperate with much of anything!
Just a little documentation of Dave's iphone addiction for my enjoyment. He insists he doesn't have a problem :)
Back to more presents - this time for Christmas. Chase was loving the early celebration!
A new Minnie Mouse tricycle. Bryce is in love with it as much as Taylor.
How many Caddell men does it take to assemble a toy grill? I have a bag of "spare parts" to justify that we still don't know the answer to that one!
Chase playing his new farm animal game that he got from Megan and Carl.
He was so excited when his cousins came over to play. He talked about them from the time he got up until they got there late in the afternoon!
Uncle Grover carving up the ol' turkey.
At the dinner table.
Taylor's picture taking went from good....
to bad.....
to worse!
Charles stopped by for a visit. He brought some of his old toys and clothes for Chase. Chase is in love with the Miami Dolphin sleeping bag he got, but if you ask him it is "the whale team".
We went to the Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo while we were in town. Chase was a big fan of the Rhino Nutcracker.
The weather was perfect for this night. Cold enough for a jacket, but you never got cold or hot walking around. We were there for nearly 3 hours, Chase walked the whole time and Taylor, well, she was heavy!
A rare two moments when I wasn't holding her!
My view when I dared set her down on the ground!
The view when I was holding her!
Smiling with her cousin Ben.
Grandma and Chase - you can tell it took everything in him to stop and smile for a picture. He could have kept going all night long!
Part of the crew before we headed home.
Taylor wanted her picture taken in front of this doll house. Proof she will smile when she wants to.
Another exciting moment! We got to the hotel early enough on our way home for Chase to go to the pool!
It was as exciting as he thought it would be!
Taylor wasn't so sure she wanted to get in.
Finally brave enough to step in.
And then totally regretting it! She didn't intend to get wet and that was the end of the swim!
A sink big enough to sit on - completely exciting.
And what better way to end a trip than with a waffle that's bigger than your head!!
It was a great trip!
