Lost Tooth!

Chase lost his first tooth this morning!
It has been loose since the week after Easter so it has been a long time coming!  Last night it was barely hanging on and we all took a turn trying to get it out but with no luck.
This morning before school, Chase took the first bite of his donut and his eyes got huge and he gasped and stuck his fingers in his mouth and pulled out a tooth!  He was pumped!

End of Preschool & Start of Summer Fun

Taylor finished up her first year of preschool last week!
Her class had a "red, white and blue" party to end the year.
 She dressed the part.
 And so did the room.
With a few of her favorite friends.
Home after the party with plenty of loot!
Now that school is over there is more time to play!  She took Aaron to the park for a picnic last week.
Teaching him how to "play" - he was loving it.
More fun.
Chase got yet another Reds jersey in the mail this week.  His birthday never ends and he says you can never have too many jerseys!
Kaleb and Kathryn came over to play some baseball slip-n-slide one day.
Helping Kaleb open his birthday present.
The girls were more in to snacking than playing!
 Some fun in the sprinkler.
This kid NEVER gets tired of playing ball.  Now we all four go to the little league fields to play because our neighbor's windows and cars are now in jeopardy during a backyard game!  Taylor and I wear out looooong before the boys do!
Back at home playing more ball and he had a collision with the sidewalk.  Dripping blood and no tears....this was a first and worthy of a picture!
We went to the Squirrels game to celebrate Kaleb's birthday.
A little pre-game helicopter landing.  Chase is still petrified of fireworks but the never-ending helicopter noise didn't phase him!
The boys go to the game in hopes of a ball and Taylor goes for a coke!  Bryce certainly got a ball this game.  It landed in his seat and scared us all to death!
 With the birthday boy!
 All of the cousins.
Leaving the stadium we found a new mini putt-putt course and gave it a try.
Three holes were just enough and we were headed home!  Just two weeks now until Chase is out of school and the real summer fun can begin!

Relay for Life

Yesterday was the annual Relay for Life.  It was obviously not as warm as it has been for past events!!
An exciting game of lawn darts.  Jason may have had to go over the fence a time or two...Taylor!
Poor Emmy wasn't feeling too good so Taylor had to check in with her from time to time.  She never moved and there was plenty to do so you know she was feeling pitiful!
 Kicking things off!
Our survivors taking the victory lap!
Two happy fans to cheer them on!
I'm not sure this race started off very fairly - Chase doesn't usually need to look back to find Bryce!
 Walking some laps.
Showing off some of our big silent auction victories!  Chase picked the picture out all by himself :)
There was definitely more snacking than walking for this lady.
 A little walking fun.
We stuck around until dark for the luminaria ceremony.
Lit a few candles in honor and in memory of some friends and family.
My camera doesn't cooperate much in the dark.  These looked much better in the dark with the candle glowing but it didn't make for a pretty picture!
It was a good time but by this point the kids were about falling asleep on the track!
One final lap and then home to bed!

Goggles

Kids in goggles crack me up.

Happy 6th Birthday Chase!!

Chase was up bright and early today to begin the big day of being a six-year old!!  We gave him a Mesoraco jersey to start the day.
He was excited to get to school and get his "birthday pencil" - later we met him there for lunch with his requested McDonald's.
The lunch crew. We took rainbow cookies to share with his class after lunch.
Taylor and Marley.  Taylor has as many friends in the class now as Chase does!
Outside after lunch at walk and talk.  Cruising with the ladies!  He said it has been a great day so far!
