The Longest Blog Post Ever

This will surely be my longest blog post ever.  I'm a little behind and we're headed out of town tomorrow for some more vacation.  Fortunately, about 75% of my blog followers have more than 10 hours in the car tomorrow to catch up on all the pictures.  So here's your in-car entertainment:
We came back from Sandbridge to a full house.  The Seybolds were in town.  The kids and Frodo.
The girls took over the playground and made their own little fort.
 Fashion at its finest.
Debating if they really want to get wet.
 Chase got wet.
 Worn out.
An obviously tense game of checkers.
 A little front yard picnic.
After the Seybolds left town we got to spend a little time with the Smiths.
There was a morning a Jumpology.

Taylor saw this backpack in the store last year and wanted to get it for kindergarten.  I wouldn't let her get it because I was sure she would change her mind before she started school.  Nope.  She knows what she wants.  She is ready for school!
Chase is a little upset at the thought of going back to school.
Til he saw how ridiculous he looked and decided to smile!
We've taken a couple of trips to the movies.
We saw Inside Out and Minions.
You know she was more than happy to do this!
 Who knows.

A little fun at the park.
Holding a frog.  He also held a lizard on this trip and if I'd gotten a video of it we would certainly have won a contest somewhere.  It was hysterical.
Rock climbing with Bryce and Emmy.
Everything turns into a Ninja Warrior course these days.  Mostly, my living room cushions.
A lunch at Steak 'n Shake and some pickle cars.
Griffin's birthday party at an indoor sports complex.
The kids had way too much fun.
Dave even had to get in on the dodgeball action!
A little game they learned from Fiona and Noelle!
Our neighbor started working at the sports park and gave Chase some batting cage tokens.
Taylor gave it a try.  And cried.  And there are no more pictures of the night because I was holding a crying kid.
After two years of indecision, Dave finally settled on a new patio set.  He is in love.
The old patio set had to go.  You know what fits in a minivan?  Everything.  Even an entire patio set.
Grandma and Grandpa Edwards came to town for a visit so we celebrated her 60th birthday just a couple of weeks early.
 Lots of glow!

 Party girl.
 Something was funny!?
You can always count on two things when Grandma and Grandpa Edwards come to town.  Bowling and Chuck E. Cheese.

 Taylor hit the jackpot.
 Chase would not be outdone!
The kids took grandma to the pool but couldn't convince her to go off the diving board!
We helped out at church getting ready for CARITAS.
Took a quick trip up to Carter Mountain to pick some peaches.
Chase was all about the photo op.
 Taylor was not feeling it.
 Still not feeling it.
 On to the peaches.

The real reason we go pick fruit: ice cream and donuts.  Sometimes at the same time.

Officially wore them out.  Someone has to stay awake with the kids, so I feel it's only fair to be able to take pictures while on duty!
 Backyard baseball.
Hanging out with their buddies at church.
And of course, Chuck E. Cheese.
Grandpa might have more fun there than the kids do.
 Twins at Grace's birthday party.
Three party hats and some googly glasses and Chase throws his own party.  He had a little too much fun in this outfit.
While we were at the party a storm came through and knocked over our basketball hoop on grandpa's car.  Did some good damage but could have been much worse!

Chase played in a summer basketball league and he couldn't have had more fun if he tried.  It was great.  He scored a personal best of 26 points in one of his games.  This was the highlights of that night.  I didn't really do a good job of getting videos because I was too busy watching the game!
Trying a new 'do on Taylor.  It was not met with approval.
We went to the Patron to celebrate Kathryn's birthday.

They have a farmer's market at a church near our house each Wednesday during the summer.  The kids have been begging to go.  Who could pass up a giant inflatable chicken?  We have never managed to remember to stop by at the right time.  This week we finally made it.
 Chase took a pony ride.
And Taylor painted a horse?!?!   We thought "horse painting" was a painting made by the horse.  Nope.  They give you a bowl of paint and you can paint the horse.  She put on one handprint and decided that was "weird."  We did actually buy some vegetables too!
Well, that's as caught up as it's going to get around here!  Off to pack the suitcases!
