After vacation, I decided the kids had had enough fun. It was time to do some work.
That lasted about 10 minutes until we all decided that, well, fun is just more fun than work!
We've been bowling.
Hiking
Putt-putt, again.
Swimming at the pool. This was Dave showing Chase how to dive.
Chase tried!
Hitting baseballs.
This is a random picture of what I thought was a pinecone that I was about to pick up. I did not touch it once it moved!! Ick.
Taylor finnnnnaaallly got to take her long-awaited trip to the children's museum.
It was everything she hoped for.
Chase might be getting a little big for the place!
But he played along well. Kaleb was embarrassed to even be seen there!
In the ant farm. We would have loved to be able to hear the conversation that went on in there.
The time finally came to say goodbye to the trusty ol' minivan. Taking it for one last "ride".
Its replacement. Sadly, it wasn't missed for long!
The kids give the new ride 2 thumbs waaaay up!
There's been a little shopping. This girl is too much for me.
Megan, Kerry and Julie were telling me on vacation about all of their favorite recipes from skinnymom.com. I tried out the Pulled Pork Stuffed Sweet Potatoes - it was worthy of a picture and a share! Never would have thought to put the two together!
A little Cracker Barrel breakfast.
More putt-putt. This time a hole-in-one for Taylor....miraculously!
Chase just trying to keep up with her!
We made a final summer trek to the beach this past weekend. (Still have plans for October!) Taylor is all about the snacks at the beach.
And when she's not eating, she's trying to aggravate her brother!
He is unfazed. What a life!
A little beach football.
Victory dance! Two more weeks to squeeze in some summer fun! The cleaning can wait until school starts and I'm bored and don't know what to do with myself!
