Good thing I didn't make a new year's resolution to be a better blogger!!! Not sure why I can't keep up these days. I blame it on google messing with how I keep track of my pictures. They didn't ask me if it was ok to change things up!!!
Anyways, getting back to a routine after Christmas was r.o.u.g.h. This was the first school day. It got better, thank goodness!
Dave is back to full speed again. Allie Cupcake is still a puppy, just bigger!!
That cute face she is lucky to have!
Taylor started her first basketball season. She has a unique style!!
Taylor has also very much enjoyed using the selfie stick I got for Christmas.
Mustache day at school.
Strange.
Stranger.
Strangest?
See, loves the stick!
I caught Chase in action one day while I was up at school. He is the SCA alternate for his class and he digs it. He got to do the morning announcements over the intercom last week. Big deal.
Allie loves going to the vet. Waits by the door for anyone who wants to see her!
At the Richmond Spiders game.
Walking on a leash is more an exercise of patience for me!!!
Taylor lost her first tooth!
She LOVES the dog.
Special delivery one night of some sweetizzycakes cupcakes!
Getting Chase in on the selfie action.
Our first taste of snow for the season.
We had no idea what was about to hit us at this point!!
MLK day trip to Stevie B's.

Taylor was home from school one day while sick. Doesn't she look sick?! Anyways, it helped me discover my greatest find yet....
Prime Now....they brought me a kit kat to my door in less than 2 hours for $.89. Such a good deal, I got two!! It was seriously amazing to me.
When the driver, Carol, was on her way I got a text with a map where I could watch her get to my house. I hope you are as impressed as I was?!?!
Totally worth a sick day.
Except for that two days later she was sick again. Went to the dr because snowmageddon was on its way. Dr said she was fine, of course!
Taking it easy.
Then she actually really felt bad. I loved that Allie took care of her. She knew something wasn't right!
Meanwhile, Chase does NOT miss school. He was there with his pjs on inside-out to make sure they got a snow day! It worked for sure!
Allie nursed Taylor back to health in time to enjoy the snow too!
Day 1
Nothing goes better with snow than cookies!
And snow cream! I did very well pre-storm grocery shopping this time. We were set!
Still snowing. It filled up the patio!
Day 3 after it finally stopped snowing!
Dave shoveled for an hour and didn't get very far!!
He was very happy to see a neighbor on a tractor that helped us out!
In our half-igloo. The snow wasn't too good at sticking together.
Family selfie - should have brought the stick out!!
We played approximately 192 games of LIFE while snowed in.
When we finally got out of our neighborhood on Monday, we went sledding.
Taylor always reaches her limit!
Not this guy. Always smiling!
I told the kids if we were still out of school on Wednesday I would take them to Dave and Buster's. It's half price on Wednesday which means your $40 lasts almost an hour instead of 20 minutes!
It was obviously as exciting as they hoped it would be!
No, Taylor did not get glasses. Just a fashion statement.
More snow day fun.
Allie got her first haircut.
Look at the difference!!!
Taylor had her first basketball game.
Ready for action!
She actually scored a basket in her first game and really seems to be enjoying it!
Chase has had several games too but his are too intense for me to remember to take pictures!!! At the last game he would not stop putting his hands in his pockets....during the game!! When I got home and saw this in the team pic, I had to laugh. Dave told me to make sure he doesn't wear those shorts again!!
Poor dog. She's a good sport.
And occasionally we even wear her out! Not very often!
We'll see if I can't do better this month....no promises!
