An Almost Timely Update!

These two were excited to see each other on a weeknight.  Little did they know what these "future delegates" were in for....
A long, boring night of waiting through a meeting!!!
Chase got to receive his good citizen award at school.
PaPa was on spring break that week so he got to tag along.

 Getting along!
Playing dress up with Bryce and Emmy.
 Some of the choices were...unique!

The boys were having a little too much fun.
Not sure how he squeezed into this one.
Taylor's last game of the season.  It's a good day when you have 2 great-grandmas and 2 great-aunts there!!
 Collecting her end-of-the-season loot!
Speaking of loot, this was the candy collected for the egg hunt at church.  Too pretty not to take a picture!
 More tennis lessons.
Still trying to ride a bike.
How we all feel about Chase trying to ride a bike!
 Lunch at school.
Stuffing all that candy into eggs!
 Another pretty picture!
Coloring her eggs!  Chase joined her eventually but was done before I could take another picture
I got a call from the nurse to pick this kid up last Friday morning.  He looks "sick" doesn't he?!?! Turned out to be a case of mental distress over ghost conversations in the class.  I'm actually glad he wasn't really sick!  A day off never hurt!
Allie got all fancied-up this week!  Taylor loved the "cheerleader bows."
 Allie wasn't as amused!
Pretty little pup getting some attention.
 Playing with the wubble.

And the neighbor's electric skateboard. It was a big hit.
 Turns were carefully monitored!
 New shades for the season!
Ready for an egg hunt.  We told Chase to get dressed and he came back with his Easter tie.  He couldn't understand that the Easter egg hunt was not the same as Easter.  We gave up trying to explain it and let him roll.
 Filling up the baskets.

 Checking out the loot.
 Easter egg chaos.

The Easter Bunny, Overdressed Chase and Spiderman.

The most neglected child begging for attention.

At a birthday party for our neighbor Ethan.
Being good sports with the two-year old fun!

Still looking for attention!

Here We Go Again!

Catching up again!
Taylor has had a fantastic basketball season.  We didn't expect her to love it nearly as much as she does.
She enjoys her comfy seat on the bench too!
She's made plenty of baskets too!
Allie is still queen of the castle.  At least she's not peeing in the castle quite as much these days!
She is still greatly loved.  She wakes Taylor up as soon as we let her up the steps each morning.  A dog is the only thing that makes Taylor smile when woken up!
The diva pooper-scooper!
Such a good sport.
This child takes dessert seriously.
Allie has gotten a lot bigger, but not quite as big as she looks in this picture!!
We reluctantly celebrated Bryce's reptile 7th birthday with him.  I kept my distance!!  Chase left saying he wanted a reptile birthday too.  Um, no.
Chase was happy this little guy was walking the opposite direction!
Taylor pulling her hands out of the way!
Chase holding on by his fingertips for the picture!
Taylor didn't do much better. Bryce loved every second of it and Jason loved it even more.
Allie in line at the pharmacy, waiting for her dog bone.
We got a couple of warm days so we took advantage of it and played a little tennis.

One of those nice days happened to be a day off from school so we had a picnic and some kite flying fun.  Obviously the sun was too bright!
Too busy eating to smile for a picture.
The girls had excellent luck with the kites and only crossed lines a time or two!

The boys played some football.

Chase tried a kite....you can see it still on the ground!
Finally figured it out!

Back at home hanging out in the sun!
This impressed me,  It would not come down and it was barely balancing on a twig!
The kids decided to give tennis lessons a try.  They were taking things in before their turn.

Ready for action!
She always kicks her foot up!

See!

Chase has been holding out for a good citizen award ever since Taylor got one at the beginning of the school year.  He finally gets his turn this week and he couldn't be more excited!
Taylor is still loving gymnastics, or as she still says, ginastics.

After the tease of warm weather on Tuesday, it snowed on Friday!
Luckily, it was just enough snow for a 2-hour delay to school which meant we had time for breakfast at IHOP with PaPa.

Max came over for the weekend.  He obviously made himself right at home.  Chase might be in need of some bigger pjs?!?
Cheyenne came over to play! Taylor was super-excited to babysit.
She took good care of her!
Angel came over for a sleepover so we made a run to Sweet Frog before bed!
Max was over his weekend visit by this point.  Extra kids, Allie, it was all too much for him!
We celebrated Vickie's birthday with her this past weekend.
Chase sang Happy Birthday "opera style" - it was interesting.

 Buddies.
More buddies.  You never know when they're going to get along!! I always try to take a picture to remember the moment!!
