Well, the days of pregnancy bliss have come to a quick end! I can no longer walk. Nope, not kidding. Apparently, the still nameless child decided to drop very low and in the process has caused some significant damage to the tendon that holds my two pelvic bones together. So, the bones are no longer working together, which makes every movement quite painful. He, however, is quite comfortable and doing well and ready to come at his own convenience.
I went back to the doctor today and they said it's too late to be able to do much about it. They would usually try steroids or physical therapy, but said by the time either of those would start to work, I would have already had the baby. So I have medicine, but it doesn't do much. I don't have to stay in bed, but really can't do much else anyways. (And to think I just went shopping for some warm weather clothes, and now I'm stuck in my pjs all day!) I go to the doctor again on Thursday to discuss the possibility of an early delivery.... I'm now in favor of that, so we'll see how that goes. The doctor I saw today said the earliest they would consider inducing would probably be the first part of next week. Of course, he could always come early on his own, which would be fine too.
Oh, and I'm sure you can all guess why there's no picture to go with this post.... yeah, it's scary!

Oh no! So sorry to hear you are in such pain and to be stuck at home is the WORST! Well, sounds like you really need to get working on this name thing - not to mention, you'll have plenty of time to contemplate the name now! :) Stay sane and we'll be praying for you (while we're at the beach the rest of the week enjoying the sun!)
Kelly,
Dear Kelly,
These are the times when we wish Adam & Eve didn't eat that apple.
Many people from Cincy are praying for you. You're in my thoughts all day! If there's anything you want or need, just call. Even if you want someone to yell at Dave for no reason...oh, maybe not, with the pain you're in perhaps you can handle that desire. :-) God bless you and the baby. Baby and Dave owe you big time. May meds, rest and God give you comfort.
We love you,
Sista' Glenna & the E-Boys
