Chase is very excited about Christmas this year. He was looking forward to telling Santa what he wanted and seemed pretty comfortable with the idea of sitting on his lap. So we made an early trek out to see the big guy before the long lines show up and before Chase's enthusiasm disappeared.
Things were looking good as Taylor took off down the carpet with Santa's elf. As you can see, she came to a dead stop.
Didn't happen. No sitting, no list, no eye contact, no candy cane, nothing.
Finally willing to look at him, but that's about all. Maybe we went early so we could try again?

As I picked Chase up to take him to Santa he was kicking and screaming. My dad says "don't traumatize the poor kid." Ironically, there is a picture at my parents house of me at Chase's age, wearing the same dress Taylor has on, screaming my head off, while Santa is pinning me in his lap while someone (DAD!) is getting my picture taken! Grandkids have it so much better.
The happy grandkids.

And a few random pictures....
