We headed out to Cincinnati this past weekend for Megan's graduation and to celebrate Christmas with the family.

We got off to a slow start with SNOW in Richmond the morning we left but we made it there just a little later than scheduled. Typically snow shuts things down for days, so we were happy to get there when we did!

Chase was super-excited to get his very own seat this time. Here he was ready over the safety info while we waited an hour to get de-iced...fun times.

Taylor also "reading" the info.
The rest of these pictures are completely out of sequence. I never remember to upload in reverse order and after moving these first few to the top, I gave up. So here's a bunch of fun in random order....

Megan's NKU graduation!

The proud parents.

The celebration lunch with the family.

The men of the family. Quite possibly the closest genetic replication ever - so much alike.

Checking out the train display downtown.

Uncle Andy helping Chase to get a better view of the action.

Very excited.

Great picture, but apparently Taylor took it - sorry Megan.

Skyline, Take 1.

Opening presents with cousin Ben.

Playing finger puppets (a gift from Jacob and Ben) with Megan and Kerry.

Keeping Grandma busy.

Pulling up to the buffet with Grandpa...best seat in the house.

Taylor meeting her cousin Grace for the first time. One of her nicknames is "Gracezilla" so you can imagine that she and our "Taylordactyl" got along pretty well. Both go-getters.

Opening gifts with Grandpa ... I think he liked it.

Blankets - our gift of the year.

Taylor getting in on the gift action!

And Chase too.

Charles came over to play with his arsenal of Nerf weapons. Kerry collecting her fair share. She seriously suffered a battle wound during the war.

Charles was kind enough to pose for a picture even though he's about to get nailed from behind!

Post-battle snack.

A visit with Charles' grandma, Mrs. Shoemaker, and Jenni, my friend from college and also Charles' nanny before me.

Doesn't get better than Rudolph on a Merry-Go-Round at the mall.

Skyline - Take 2.

Megan and her mini-me. They have similar "personalities"!

Kerry and Chase with the final "cheeeeeese" for the weekend!

Chase asked me to take his picture while he was eating his snack on the plane ride home. He fell asleep on the way there and missed the snack then. It was just as exciting as he thought it would be and I guess he wanted a picture to remember it by.

Next stop...home. We had a great time!
