VBS

This past week was VBS at church.  Chase could not have had more fun.
It was all smiles, all week!
I helped out with preschool and one of the first nights we made a whale.  Taylor was not interested to get her picture taken anywhere near that thing!  Love that all three boys are smiling and she is certainly not!
Chase is in love with Savannah and Savannah - pictured beside him above.  He also got to be with his good buddy Kaleb - above - all week.  Couldn't get better than that for him!
Oh wait, it did get better - MeMaw was his teacher!
Now Chase wants to know when we will go out and let the Savannahs come stay at his house.

 Happy boy.

11 preschoolers with 11 beachballs. Not my idea.  They loved it, obviously.

 Still smiling!

Taylor hung out with Bryce in the Baby and Me class all week.
This girl wanted to get in on the pictures.
You can see that Taylor and Bryce had the same thought about that!

The grande finale on stage.  Kathryn and Bryce were too worried about the lady dressed like a panda bear standing behind them on the stage.  Taylor wasn't going to look at the panda bear or the crowd!

Favorite part of the night - the ice cream truck!  It was a big decision.

 All happy with their choices!

It was a fun week!

River, Father's Day and Pictures

We spent the day at the river this past Saturday. Chase turned out to be much more of a river rat than we would have expected.  I had to drag him out of the water at the end of the day.
Checking things out.
Filling up a bucket of water, imagine that!

Taylor has an unusual love for her hat and sunglasses (and of course her pacifier too).
Taking a boat ride.  They are more trusting of Captain Jason than I would be.

Taylor didn't care to go in the water too much until later in the day.
She was happier to sit and snack on the blanket.

The ship finally coming in for a safe landing.
Taylor in her favorite spot - might be just a little spoiled.

Happy Father's Day!  The kids sporting their best "dad" gear.

And here are pictures of the pictures...no Taylor here!

Back in Action

Finally up and running with a new camera!  This time it was Megan, instead of Kerry, letting me know it had been awhile since the last pics!  Here's a few from the past couple of weeks:
Super-uper-duper excited to own his first official basball helmet.
Heather, this one is for you.
As soon as we heard the "uh-oh" Dave said "good thing this didn't happen at Heather's house!"
Unfortunately this was only the start of many, many messes I have cleaned up after this child this week!

I took Chase and Taylor for pictures last week.  There will be no official 18-month pics for Taylor.  She was not interested one bit.  I tried.  This was her post-pictures - sure I'll smile for you now - photo session.

When Bryce heard we were going for pictures he said to me "But Kelly I didn't bring a special outfit for pictures today."  So sweet - so he wanted to borrow some of Chase's so he could get in on the action.  Worked out well since Taylor left Chase hanging.  We got some cute pictures of the boys.  I'll post some after I pick them up later today.

 Little Stinker.

On a much happier note, we've spent plenty of time in the pool recently!
Buckets and 6 inches of water keeps them happy for a long time!
Sometimes just buckets will do the trick!

Getting ready for a pool party at Uncle Marty's house.  Someone is obviously not worried about her swimsuit figure!   The boys had their swimees on for about 2 hours before we ever left the house!

Taking a swim with Vickie and Vanessa.
He might be just a little happy?!
 It's a rough life.

The End of a Camera

The camera had to officially be retired.  Even when the lense would open, it wouldn't zoom.
Here was the last of pictures left on it.
Three super-excited kids waiting for MeMaw to arrive and take us for our first pool visit of the summer!
 MeMaw has obviously been spotted!
All loaded up and ready to go.
Finally in the pool - the most fun thing for these kids is tossing toys back and forth over the wall that divides the two sides.  It never gets old.

Of course when they do get tired of swimming they hop out for the little playground,

 and snacks!

Chase drew this picture of him and his daddy "at a party" - the child is in love with having a party, especially if he thinks Kerry and her friends can come.  He was disappointed they didn't show up for Dave's birthday party this past week.
We took the kids to the Strawberry Faire last weekend.  Mostly we went to eat lunch - there are way too many people there for me to stay too long.

We did buy some strawberries to make it an official visit.

Taylor quickly went back to the goldfish, but Chase finished off the rest of the berries.
