A Birthday and More Beach

I finally sat down yesterday to put up a few pictures and was distracted by none other than an earthquake.  Seriously.  I couldn't figure out what was going on but it seemed bad so I decided that if the end was coming I would rather be eating a brownie than blogging!!  So today I'm out of brownies and the ground is still for the moment so here are the pictures.  These courtesy of MeMaw...
First up, a birthday party.
The happy family out for the birthday dinner.
Taylor loves to sit with Grace when we go to restaurants.
The kids and I took off midweek for the beach to spend a few days with my mom's side of the family.
The first night we went to watch some of the aunts, uncles and cousins racing go-carts.
Chase and Taylor were very interested (and tired) spectators!
The next night Chase begged to go back so he could ride.
I didn't think he would do it, but he loved it.
We're headed back to Nags Head in October and he can't wait to go back to race again.
A little blurry here but you can still see the smile goes all the way from ear to ear!

Here they are listening to some tunes and catching up on some reading!

Chase always finds a friend!  His favorite this week was my cousin Julie.
They did a little fishing.  Taylor probably would have eaten it.  The poor fish was scared to move.
Finally to make the trip complete we played a little putt-putt before we hit the road to come home.
Taylor took the easy route!
 Chase takes it pretty seriously.

High-fives after his (for real) hole-in-one.  That's his 2nd of the summer!
