Christmas preparations are well underway around here. Our first attempt at Christmas card pics was a bust. So I tried again - this time with one of Chase's "girlfriends" (she is only about 16 years older than him!) from church as the photographer.

He was obviously thrilled about it. Taylor, well, same reaction from her!
Couldn't be happier....
Still not going to cooperate!
My favorite picture of the day. (If only a certain sister had been standing next to him!!!)
Finally she cracked a smile!
The yearly Santa picture. Unfortunately Chase has asked Santa for a drum set and bow and arrow. Not sounding good for us, literally.
This past weekend was the parade. Last year it was freezing, this year was perfect. Chase was anxiously waiting for it to start.
Luckily Jason was prepared with some pre-parade entertainment.
Nothing says "Merry Christmas" like a mentos geyser.
It looks as though he is in deep admiration of his success.
Finally the parade begins.
Taylor was even crazy enough to wave to people!
Then she got way crazy and left my lap for the front row blanket. I think the candy-tossing helped. She was packing it in as fast as they were giving it to her!
Chase liked the bands most, as usual. You can't really tell but he was drumming along with them.
One of the louder moments!
Santa spotted them and gave them a final wave!
