This past week was full of fun and company!
If you can't tell, the kids picked out their own red, white and blue outfits for the holiday!
Grandma and Grandpa Edwards came to town for a few days. The 4th is also Grandpa's birthday so the kids made him a flag cake to celebrate. Not sure what country they were going for?!
Bad color here, but Chase was serious about helping blow out the candles!
Our view of the fireworks! We weren't interested in trying to take in a real show but fortunately the neighbors decided to put on a small display of their own that we got to watch!
Since it was HOT, HOT, HOT we had to "shoot" for some indoor activities.
The first stop was bowling.
Taking a little refreshments break.
Taylor showing off her skills.
And some of her other skills - being silly with Bryce.
Putting the shoes away at the end is as exciting as the bowling!
The next day was, of course, Chuck E. Cheese.
Taylor shooting some hoops.
Eating pizza and watching Chuck.
Later that night we nearly melted went to a Nutzy baseball game!
Taylor got a new Nutzy hat out of the trip to hold back her soaking wet hair - it was hot!
Chase opted for the foam finger which doubled as a fan!
Never too hot for cotton candy, even though it too appears to be melting!! It was a fun visit.
Later today it's off to Disney for us!!! A few pictures to come next week :)
