Christmas Miscellany

A random collection of recent Christmas happenings.  First up, a parade.  It is most convenient to be able to watch the parade from Jason and Grace's front yard.  The kids only sat still for about 2 seconds until the parade started so it's nice that they can run around the yard until the last minute!
Nutzy finally made his way down the street.
Chase was right up front and Taylor was stuck to my lap the entire time!

Don't be fooled.  This was a pre-parade picture of Taylor!
Emmy took Chase down while they were waiting!
Waiting for some candy.  They always had their bags open and ready!
Back at church for the Hanging of the Greens, the boys did their own rendition of Little Drummer Boy.  Taylor was supposed to go with them but, well you know how that goes.
Dressed and ready to go see Santa.  They were feeling a little silly.
The "fine, we'll smile like you want us to" faces.
Finally seeing Santa!  Chase was all about it this year.  He even made Santa a card to take back to the North Pole with him.  Taylor would nod and wave but she had a death grip on me!
 Good buddies.
Poor Emmy.  She's a good sport.
I stuck this one in for the closer look at Chase's eye.  He was playing football with himself in the living room last week and got tackled, by himself, and fell into the bottom bracket of the blinds on the back door.  It wasn't pretty!  He's had a black eye for going on 10 days now but it does look a ton better.
 Showing off Bryce's santa hat.
Taking a little pony ride.
As if seeing Santa wasn't enough for one night, Grayson showed up with a birthday gift for Taylor after we got home.  She will be embarrassed one day that she acted like this in front of him.  She is silly.
He gave her a customized kid's songs cd and each song has her name in it.  She still looks around with this confused look on her face each time she hears her name.
Chase didn't get left out either.  He got a new reversible camo hat for the winter.  He might need someone to tell him that the hat is about the only thing camouflaged about his outfit!
