Spring Sprung

Thank goodness this is the last snow picture left to be found!! Now that we've had a taste of spring we're ready for the heat.
Vickie celebrated the big 6-0 last week.
The room they put is in was a tad chilly.  Chase was warming his backside by the space heater.
The family.
A birthday serenade.
Taylor and Emmy had just gotten these Elsa hats and the boys were having the most fun with them.
Looks like Bryce learned to wear a wig from Jason - he is working it!
Decked out for the birthday dinner.  I told Taylor the shoes didn't match and she said, " They do match.  This is a fancy dress.  These are my fancy shoes.  They match." Ok.
Celebrating Dr. Seuss day at school with green eggs.
Taylor is playing soccer this spring.  This is her picking up her jersey and getting her first pink soccer ball.  I guess she decided to keep the change too!
Chase is playing baseball.  He got a new bat and decided to try it out.  It must work because he knocked the cover off of the ball.  I'm fairly confident the cul-de-sac is not the best baseball field anymore.  Only a matter of time before we're fixing something.
Ready for the first practice.  Fashion is a battle. This picture doesn't do the outfit justice.
Chase has been "coaching" her.  The first practice went pretty well.  She's got quite the kick, she just doesn't always come in contact with the ball.  She could well kick someone in the nose though.
We got to babysit Cheyenne for the first time this week.  Taylor was quite the pro.
And Cheyenne was a good sport.
Taylor even changed diapers.  She had to invite Emmy over to be assistant babysitter.
Cheyenne even let Taylor put a baby doll hat on her.
I wouldn't let her try to put the dress on!
Chase got to help out a little but as you can tell, he was more interested in tv!

Fashion battle:  shirt or nightgown.  "I don't care.  It's a shirt to me."
Taylor's preschool class "read" 100 books so they got to have an ice cream party.
The girls had a field trip to the circus this morning.  Chase and Bryce have no interest in going so it made it easy to go while they were busy at school.
Figured I'd better take one last picture of the elephants.  Chase and Taylor will be able to tell their kids how they used to have elephants at the circus and have a picture to prove it!
