Easter

Annual Easter picture.  Chase might have to be in the back row next year.  Not cool.
 The cousins.
MeMa and PaPa with the cousins.
 Marty, Lisa, Vanessa & Cheyenne
Grandma and Vickie with the cousins.
Grandma trying on Jason's jacket.  I think she liked it!
Hunting more eggs.  It never gets old.
Allie was fortunate enough to come to Easter lunch but got in a little trouble hunting eggs!
The girls checking out their treasures.
Cheyenne checking out whether she wants to snatch some of Chase's eggs!
Egg hunt success.  And it was a beautiful day!
Hunting, or not hunting, eggs is exhausting!!

Spring Break

We took off for a week visiting family in the Cincinnati area for spring break.  Clearly the trip got off to an exciting start since ALL my passengers fell asleep!  My attempt at a picture of the three of them was not very good....
Once we made it to town it was time to play.  Can we just take a minute and recognize that we drove straight through, 9 hours with stops, and NO ONE complained, whined or fought!  Who wasn't in the car......DAVE?!
We plan the majority of our trip around food.  First up was Frisch's Big Boy and Hot Fudge Cake.
We were able to sneak over for a quick visit with Mr. and Mrs. Shoemaker.
They still look the same to me as 10 years ago.  I didn't ask if I look the same to them!
Since it was raining, it was easy for the kids to get in a trip to Chuck E. Cheese.

Orange Leaf is conveniently right next door.
Chase likes this better than Sweet Frog, not because they have better yogurt, but because they have comfortable furniture.
Still raining so we got to hit up the mall too.  He couldn't fit on the eagle but he was still determined to ride it!
 Freakishly weird large rabbit.
Finally it stopped raining enough for some putt-putt.  Taylor and I had our best rounds ever.
Grandpa, not so much!  He ended up taking a few shots from the "rough."

Ben was able to join in the fun too.
Then, more food!  Skyline - Taylor loves it.
Chase gives it a thumbs up too.
FaceTime with the cousins to compare spring break fun!
Back at the house we played a few rounds of uno and then Chase and Ben had a war game that lasted an hour and ended up in a tie!
The next day, Dave showed up in town and we crossed the river for some more fun.
Grandma & Grandpa Caddell's annual easter egg hunt.
 Checking out the loot.
We took a trip to the zoo.

 Feeding the giraffe.

The flowers were beautiful so there were many photo ops!

Even little Etta was a good sport for all the pictures.
A glimpse at what it took to get her to smile.  We are still singing "I'm a Little Teapot" in our heads!
Chase and Taylor helped too.  "How big is Etta?".....SOOOO Big!

Souvenirs to make the trip official!
That same day we went to a Reds game.

One last Etta snuggle before we hit the road.  She was such a good sport!
Wondering why she's getting passed around like a toy?!
And one last stop at Orange Leaf!
Happy Campers for the ride home! lol  It was a fun week!
