The kids had an early release day on a day that Dave didn't have to work so we made an afternoon of it. We tried out GlowGolf....possibly my worst round of putt-putt ever, but it was fun!
You couldn't lose the kids, that's for sure!
It's just a coincidence that Duck Donuts was right across the street. We may have had a hot donut or two.
Chase obviously had one too many, because he couldn't get up in the chair!
While Chase was at a birthday party one evening, we took Taylor out for dinner. Again, coincidentally right across the street was a dessert place called Morsels. Go there. They have this creation that is raw cookie dough, wrapped in a cooked brownie and then dipped in chocolate.
Chase had his first Storm travel ball tournament. I missed the first game because of church and the second game lasted a mere 50 minutes. To say the tournament did not go too well would be accurate. This was the only picture I have to show for it!
We had a Seder Passover meal at church. Chase decided to be an adult and try it out with us. The food was a bit sketchy to him!
Taylor was a kid and did kid stuff and ate chicken nuggets and mac and cheese! Chase joined in for a bit of their fun.
Grant passed through town one night so we got to have a quick dinner with him.
While we were gone, Allie found the duct tape. She will probably never do that again.
She may still be having nightmares. I made her suffer through these pictures before we helped her out!
5000 easter eggs at church. Luckily I did not have to stuff them. I just got them from trashcans to buckets!
I had some excellent help too.
As if the eggs weren't enough, I got a few peeps too!
Might have gone back for more donuts with Kaleb and Kathryn, It is RIGHT across the street from Dave & Buster's....coincidence!
Egg hunt photo-op test run!
Egg hunt day! Chase had to scoot out early for baseball so he hunted eggs on his own on the way to the parking lot!
Taylor found a few.
Grandma Edwards helping her count the loot.
We made it to Chase's game after the egg hunt. The first game did not go well. I thought we were set for an early departure again.
He didn't care. He got to eat a cheeseburger with his boy Bryce, Doesn't get better than that.
Picnic.
The boys huddled together to get ready for a comeback.
More huddle.
Dedicated fan base here.
Ready for action. He made some awesome plays.
And somehow he made it to 3rd base!
Amazingly, they WON the tournament!
Big East Beast 8U Champs!
High-five from our favorite coach!
The fans stuck around until the end! Minus the girls who gladly went to MeMa's house to play!
Now there's a happy kid!
