The kids had been rather bitter that we hadn't made it to the state fair the last couple of years. We promised we would take them this year. We had plans to go with the youth group from church on a Sunday, the last day the fair was open. The forecast wasn't looking so good so we took the kids on Thursday just in case Sunday didn't happen.
Nothing like winning a large inflatable thing to carry around the whole time!

He was trying to act funny but he really was holding on for dear life.
Turned out that the weather was decent on Sunday, so back to the fair we went. Taylor and I went with the group and Dave and Chase caught up with us later.
Taylor thought she was a middle schooler.

We did get wet but not for too long!
Dave and I got to hang out on the ground while the kids went crazy on the rides!
What's better than winning a large inflatable?!?! A real, live goldfish. You're welcome, parents!
