The kids and I set off on a little spring break adventure to Cincinnati.
First stop, after picking up Grandma and Grandpa Edwards, was Build-a-Bear. I told Chase he was getting too old for this but he did not agree.
This was his "you were right, Mom" face. He said this was his last visit.
Taylor, however, is still the target audience. Big decisions between roller skates, sparkly collars and sunglasses!
Finished product.
Next stop, Skyline. If Dave had been with us we would have had to stop here before building bears!
The next day, the kids and I had a chance to meet up for lunch with Mrs. Shoemaker, Sandie and "Little Charles." He's not so little anymore!
Putt-putt despite windy conditions and impending storms!
Check out the windy-hair!
After that, we eat....again. Dinner at LaRosa's with some more of the Edwards clan.
Finished off with ice cream, of course.
Then time for some baby Evelyn love!
And bowling with Grandpa Caddell. Taylor loved this seat.
Only smiling because he's about to drop them!
Fun times.
This was a picture of it snowing on spring break, but you can't see the snow. It was there.
I met up with Heather for dinner one night and got the pleasant surprise of the extended Comp/Seybold family to join us!
It was FREEZING COLD!
Back to baby love.
Sweet Evelyn always had a line of people waiting for her and she was happy to oblige.
Checking out the newly-remodeled park.
Etta showed them around.
Did a little puppy shopping!
Hanging out with Izzy.
Quick trip to the zoo for Tunes n' Blooms.
Baby love. The kids said I was a baby-hog. They were right. Sorry kids.
We took a field trip to pick up a new puppy. These ones were so cute and tiny.
I know that cute and tiny = bigger mess!
So we got this laid-back giant to take home!
Seriously so chill. Allie still hasn't laid down in over 2 years.
They were happy with the selection and promptly named her, Millie Muffin.
Super chill.
Checking out life with cousin Izzy.
Then back to the baby,
Puppies and babies. Can't beat it.
Little baby/puppy break for Dave and Busters. Oh look, Dave made it to town!
Our spring break week wrapped up with Evelyn's baptism on Sunday.
Puppy love before church. Really a lecture about behaving while we were gone.
Brett & Kerry and the happy family.
Taylor with cousin Jimmy.
The effort behind what will be....
a nice photo!
The Godfather.
Successful spring break. Saw all the people and had all the fun! Headed home with a new furry friend!
