Pretty sure this video knocks me out of the running for Mother of the Year, but so worth it. Chase cracks up at himself everytime he watches it. Taylor dried out and still giggles each time she sees Chase with the squirt bottle so I think she's ok too. I make him water the flowers now instead of his sister.

Myrtle Beach
We spent last week at Myrtle Beach with some of Dave's family.
We had a great time and excellent weather. The kids were slightly spoiled!
Get comfortable....I had more than 500 pictures to choose from for this post. I can take credit for about 30 of them, the rest were Megan's. I think by the end of the week Chase was automatically saying "cheese" everytime he saw Megan! You can tell by his face he was like, "here we go again!" I tried to pick the best pictures to summarize the week, but I know I left out plenty!
This was us at my cousin's wedding the afternoon before we left town.

Water Garden
We made plans early in the week to go to Lewis Ginter and play in their Children's Garden with Bryce on Thursday. Well everytime we went anywhere all week Chase would say "water garden" and we would again go over days of the week and how much longer it would be until Thursday. So Thursday finally comes and we get there and this is what he does....
Go figure. He eventually warmed up to the idea a little, but not much.
I couldn't really blame him - the water would shoot out in different places and different times and at varying distances and you got no warning when it was going to change. I think he'll like it more when he gets a little older.

8 Months and Moving
Taylor is on the move. Not quite crawling yet, but she can get around. If you leave her in one place, she will not be there when you get back. She loves to pull herself up but can't always get back down, gracefully anyways.
She can walk herself up and down the sides now.
Looking way too much like Chase with no clothes on! I tried but couldn't find a picture of Chase in this pose and "outfit" at the same age. I know I have one somewhere.
Favorite thing to do.
Someone who insists he will not be outdone by his little sister.
He said, "ook mama, ook. Chase have turn now. yay, Chase." Such a big boy!
