A Weekend With the Aunties

Kerry and Megan made it town last weekend!
They were here for 3 days and only took 188 pictures.
Here are a few of the highlights:
It was hot and sunny the day they arrived so Chase took them straight outside!
and stayed outside a LONG time.
At the train station at the mall. Unfortunately the train wasn't actually running this day.

"Cheese" - I'm pretty sure when Megan says Chase's name he automatically says cheese.

Of course they came bearing gifts. Kerry was most excited to open the play food set and get "cooking." The poptart she is holding was her favorite. She was sad to leave it.

More outside at the park. It's a bit more crowded when it's actually warm outside!
These two are WAAAAY too much alike already!

Like I said, waaaaay too much. Already talking on the phone, the zebra phone no less.

And sharing in another Caddell trait: ice cream eating.
You know his mother wasn't there if he is this messy!
I like putting Taylor's hair up like this not because it looks good, but because it makes people smile. She was walking the mall waving and saying hi. You can't look at her and not laugh!

More "Cheeseeeee"
The whole crew at the mall fountain. Chase takes his own baggie of pennies to the mall now. This particular day it was super windy and penny-tossing was a challenge.

Jason hates that I let Taylor have her pacifier so much. Look at this picture, Jason. See why I can't make her part with it?
Megan made the mistake of letting Chase watch the Thomas theme song on youtube on her phone. Let's just say she didn't get her phone back for a long time and we are all still singing the song in our heads.

And then he talked Kerry into letting him watch it on the computer.
Bryce even got in on the fun.
When he got here Tuesday he said, "Where Megan and Kerry go?"

Taylor's Turn

Chase has been going to church on Wednesday nights with MeMaw which gives Taylor her chance to be the only child for like an hour and a half each week!
She has been living it up...Her very own oatmeal pie.
She can hardly believe life can be this good!
Wait, Coke to wash it down....even better!
She couldn't be any happier!
Taylor went for her 15 month check up this week. She got a good report. She's still tall, 75-90%, but has thinned out a little, only 25-50% for weight. The doctor said this was fine as long as she has a good appetite. I spared him the details about oatmeal pies and coke, but assured him she was eating plenty!

And just to be sure he didn't get left out of a blog post...Chase showing off his "spiky hair."

Finally, guess what we did today?

Dave's sisters were in town this past weekend. As soon as Megan gets pictures on Facebook I will steal some and put them on here! I took one picture all weekend. She usually has me covered!

Live in Action...

I finally had a little bit of luck (and patience) with getting a few clips on here.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Making Valentine's Day cards. This may be the only year we use glitter. That is unless of course there is still glitter from this year's cards floating around the house next year. Very possible.

See what I mean. Glitter wasn't exactly getting put on the cards.

Cardmaking did wear her out though. This picture is the only of its kind in our house. Our children NEVER randomly fall asleep. Never ever.

It was finally warm enough to get outside this week. Once it really gets warm we may never come in! They would play basketball all day long. It's ok with me....I am already shopping for the perfect lounge chair! This will be the first summer in 3 years that I won't have a non-mobile baby to take outside or be hugely pregnant. Yay!

Buddies.

Can you figure this one out?
Chase came to me and said, "Look mommy, I draw on sissy"
It was a permanent marker and it still hasn't washed off.
Max comes over for doggy-daycare some days. Chase has become quite his buddy. Max still runs from Taylor, for good reason! We took a trip to Jump Zone one day with Jason and Bryce on his day off. I thought it was a pretty neat place, but Chase did not. They have a 10 foot tall Batman and he was petrified of it. This was him staring at Batman from across the room.

And it's hard to appreciate in this picture but all 3 kids are screaming. Classic moment. We'll be sticking to Inflatable Palace for a few more years. They weren't quite ready for this one!

Thomas and Other Fun Stuff

Today was the day Chase had been waiting for for almost 3 weeks.... We had tickets to go see the Thomas the Train show. He didn't want to go. He woke up, I said we're going to see Thomas today, he said no I want to go play basketball in the gym, I said sorry we're going to see Thomas and you're going to like it and we're going to have FUN!
Luckily (for him) his attitude quickly changed and it was loads of fun!
Although, when buying tickets for these things I forget that I actually have to sit through them too. I will say Thomas was more tolerable for me than the Elmo show and when we left Chase said to me, "Thank you so much for taking me mama. That was fun." Worth it.

Intermission popcorn, good stuff.
And here are some pictures from the last week or so...
Exercising. I got some new videos and so far the boys are the only ones enjoying them!

Catching snowflakes on his tongue with PaPa.
Gotta love grandparents - only people that can be convinced it's a good idea to try to go outside and build a snowman in 1/4 inch of snow!

They did build a snowman.
Here is Chase throwing a snowball at the window trying to hit his lazy parents.

Enough snow. We're ready for baseball season. All 3 kids sported the Nutzy gear in hopes it will be warm enough for baseball soon!

And the favorite activity of all time - cleaning out the toy box.

Chase and Bryce frequently hop up in his bed and "read" books to eachother.
It's all fun and games until Taylor gets big enough to climb up there too.
I think they do this to get away from her for a bit!
