Valentine's Day got way out of control this year with the coincidental arrival of multiple packages and cards at the same time. The bar has been set way too high - the kids think it was like Christmas all over.
He can hardly believe his eyes!
Taylor was caught trying to eat the hearts off of the necklace. She is that addicted to candy. She didn't even believe me when I told her it was plastic.
Chase could hardly stand the excitement. Taylor thought he was a little crazy.
One of Chase's finds was a Chuck E. Cheese giftcard. He thought we should go immediately.
Valentine's breakfast included pink heart pancakes - a favorite for Taylor.
Then it was off to, where else, Chuck E. Cheese!
Bryce and Emmy even got in on the fun. Emmy never knew she was there!
Chase hit the jackpot!
Group photo wasn't happening.
Dave came home from work with more Valentine treats.
The kids had to close their eyes while he brought them over. 
He went all out on the wrapping job - hence, the reason they had to close their eyes!
Chase got a baseball uniform and Taylor got a stuffed animal, pillow and blanket.
And also cookies - obviously pretty good ones!
Bryce got to come visit for a little while one day while Emmy went to the doctor. They asked me to take a picture of them with their jellybeans.
They did a little painting.
And a little cookie making, or rather eating. We always use double the amount of toppings - only half make it to the cookies.
Bryce decided to use all of his toppings on one cookie - cracked me up.
