Haircut & Boxes

It was time.

 It has been time for the rat-ish tail to go for quite some time now.  Taylor has thicker, short hair underneath and then very thin, fine hair on top that is quite longer. I finally took the scissors to it today.

 I'm glad that I did.  She was excited about the haircut but was mad that I wouldn't use the clippers on her like I do the boys.  That wouldn't have looked too good.

 I'm sure many, many hairs will be trimmed and adjusted in the next few days but for now she's looking better!  It was a good start.

Besides haircuts we've been packing boxes, then more boxes, and finally more boxes.  We're a little better than half way there if I had to guess.  We close on the new house on Wednesday and plan to move the big stuff on Saturday.  More excitingly, we have a contract on our house and if all goes well we'll close on it May 30th!
