The kids are in bed and Dave is playing softball....no excuses, I have to try to catch up with pictures! I have way too many pictures from our time with Easter company so I put most of those on Facebook (so Heather and Melinda can steal them easier!)instead of taking time to put them all on the blog. Here are the Easter highlights though:
First up, the egg hunt at Bass Pro Shop. Millions of kids hunting hundreds of eggs in a huge store makes for mass chaos, but it was fun.
These 3 were obviously not in a hurry!
Best matching buddies.
Out the door with loot and an Easter bunny picture no less!
Taylor kept "adjusting" her clothes while we were in line for the Easter bunny and I kept making her stop. When we got home I realized she had a legitimate problem. She put her underwear on by herself and they were sideways. No wonder she was complaining!
Coloring some eggs.
The finished monster project.
I hope he was trying to make a face like his egg?!
The preschool party. Sad to say that preschool only has about 7 weeks left!
On the hunt!
We had to take fruit for the party. We tried the fruit kabobs. Everyone ate the marshmallow off the top, we'll at least say that!
I always love the pre-egg hunt prayer at church. Classic faces.
You didn't have to look hard to find these eggs. You had to try hard not to step on them!
Chase found one of the numbered eggs and was proud to claim his prize.
Then came the fun with company. Brett, Heather, Fiona and Noelle came for the weekend from Cincinnati and Melinda came from Grundy. The kids have never had such nonstop fun in their lives. It was 3 solid days of play!
Easter baskets x 4!
Dressed for church. Noelle was over picture taking by this point!
Who knows?!
Totally butted in line to take these pictures and didn't even know it. Still feel bad about it.
The family. Chase is wearing one of Dave's suits from when he was little.
The whole crew.
Taylor at Heather and Melinda's hair salon!
Showing off the braid and soaking up some sun!
Yay for good weather while they were here. We were able to hang out at the park for most of Monday.
Flying kites. Just fyi, the wide open area you think you have is never big enough with 4 kite-flying kids! There were a few tangles.
On a walk. Emmy might be small but she is mighty. She was in total control of this group!
A little fishing. Again, never enough room. We did plenty of untangling here too!
When you need a hat, any hat will do.
Taking a group picture before Melinda had to leave. We were obviously not ready!
Much better! It was such a good weekend!
They had fun, can you tell!?!
