Vacation will wear you out. It seems like the last two weeks have flown by but it also seems like forever ago that I took these pictures. Fair warning - lots of pictures coming......
When Dave left for Mexico, Kerry flew down to travel around with us while he was gone. We took a trip to Cincinnati to visit with family and friends and have some fun to pass the time!
Taylor was excited to spend some time with the girls: Grace, Zoey and Maggie. Chase decided girls weren't too bad...he had fun too!
Taylor and Zoey could play together all day long.
We took a trip to the zoo. Luckily, we had an experienced tour guide.
Brushing the goats.
Checking out the turtles.
Train ride.
Polar bears.
4-D movie - I never considered what the 4th "d" was until too late. When the animal in the cartoon spit and we all got sprayed with water I quickly figured it out. Chase was not thrilled with this experience!
Checking things out with Grandpa.
The princess riding in her chariot.
Carousel ride. Both kids finally enjoy this experience now!
Plenty of Skyline!!!
Water park. We were hoping to go here with Fiona and Noelle, but Heather came up with some lame excuse like getting wisdom teeth pulled and a root canal so they couldn't make it. :) We missed them but her teeth should be in excellent working order by our next visit!!
The kids had fun and Taylor even got wet.
Plenty of ice cream was eaten.
Photo-op with Megan.
Charles and his family were out of town so we didn't get to see them but Mrs. Shoemaker snuck us in to their house to see some remodeling they've done.
Lunch with Mrs. Shoemaker at her new retirement home. I told my parents they'd better behave so maybe they'd have a chance of getting in to a place like hers one day! The kids thought it was the coolest place ever.
Me and Mrs. Shoe - and the only picture that proves I was on this trip!!
Playing a little putt-putt. Grandpa might have been fishing his ball out of the water!
Taylor's unique putting style.
Chase is a little more serious.
Posing with the baseball bats in his baseball attire.
Riding on the top level of a double-decker carousel. She is wild and crazy. Chase chickened out and moved to the bottom!
Playing at the mall.
Eating at the Big Boy!
Family picnic time - eating with their cousins.
And with Grandma and Grandpa.
Taylor asked me to take a picture of her itty-bitty cupcake.
Learning from the big boys. Chase had a blast on the plasma car.
All the grandkids.
Sand volleyball courts make for an excellent sandbox.
Puzzles with Grandpa.
Another photo op.
Out for dinner.
And more ice cream!
And popsicles.
Checking out Great-Granny and Great-Grandpa Hoeh's dogs. Taylor's smile shows how happy she was to play with some puppies!
Out in the rain for her big dress shopping experience. She loved it.
With the bride-to-be.
She was living it up with all the dresses AND accessories!
The winning selection!
Carrying out all her loot!
Chase was not left out. He checked out some tuxedo options too!
We had a blast! Here is where I would put a picture of children sleeping on the way home, but, well, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!! Taylor almost had her carseat put on the roof at one point!! Never a dull moment.
