We had a playdate of the furry variety this week. We made plans to meet our good buddy Zeke at the park. He is doing great and having the time of his life! He isn't that much bigger than I remember. He's very tall and thin. The kids were excited to see him and in typical Zeke fashion, he was excited too!
He is apparently quite the accomplished swimmer. Chase threw this stick over and over and over and Zeke would swim after each time and sometimes did an underwater dive to get it.
They took turns walking him and playing fetch and had a great time. At the end of the visit they said good-bye with NO tears! I was hoping I wouldn't regret this idea, and luckily it worked out great. Taylor already wants to do it again.
Another great idea is going to Chuck E. Cheese - this one wasn't my idea!! The kids talked my parents in to taking them!
Emmy was right in on the action this time! And as usual, Taylor is happy to have her own personal driver.

We also got to see Chase's buddy, Landon, last weekend. We went to play at his new house for a while and then all went over to his grandparents to swim. Chase followed Landon's lead and was jumping off the diving board and swimming to the side unassisted! He's gone crazy.
Taylor found a Barbie pool and that was all she needed.
Taylor has also been practicing up for her upcoming flowergirl role! She's ready for it!
There was also a long-awaited trip to Friendly's.
Redneck girl? She is a piece of work. We've done pretty well getting her back on track after all of the travels. Here's hoping that it stays that way next week for the final trip of the summer!
