It's hard to believe that our summer fun is almost over. Typically, the end of summer doesn't mean too much but this year it means school! I'm not ready for it but that doesn't seem to stop it. We decided to just have fun this week and worry with the chores later - this is much different than what we usually do ;)
I usually stopped just past the goats for fear of having to carry multiple children back up the giant hills! I'm pretty sure this was the first time I've ever been there with only 2 kids under my watch.
Chase soaring like an eagle.
Taylor doing what she does best. Heaven help me if I hadn't had the stroller that day!
Photo stop.
Waterfalls, who knew!
Bridges, gardens, fish - Chase wondered why I'd been holding out on him all this time!
Trying to keep up with the boys!
We made it across these stones and I'm fairly sure we'd have barely gotten our ankles wet if we fell off but it still was a bit much for me! The fish were bigger than Emmy.
Feeding the fish some leftover Subway. This is probably frowned upon, but it's the last week of summer and we're having fun.
See what I mean, the fish are bigger than the kids. Creepy.
The walk back. The boys had a bit more energy than the girls by this point!
Taking advantage of the bear photo stop on her own terms.
We also checked out Pump It Up. It was everything the kids hoped it would be!
Good times.
Taylor is hoping for a Pump It Up birthday party now.
Wild child. This was supposed to be a group photo.
McDonalds picnic - I told you we left no fun unfound!
Swimming or rather jumping in over and over and over in Sandy and Ned's pool.
It was in and out and repeat. They loved it!
The girls did a little light swimming and then it was snacks and sunbathing.
Don't remember what was going on for this picture.
MeMa took all the kids fishing. I am not allowed on fishing trips because I ruin all the fun.
Sunbathing some more, in the shade.
I think you know what's about to happen here.
It's all payback for what happened here!
We even took a trip to school with MeMa just for fun. Speaking of school, we're headed to meet Chase's teacher in a few minutes. Wish me luck, I'm not ready!
