First, a sneak peek from the Christmas card photo shoot. The kids were unexpectedly enthusiastic about taking pictures this year. It was hilarious. They came up with all the poses themselves. Taylor gets the above pose trait directly from Megan and Kerry.
Speaking of DNA, here's an exact replication.
Taylor is getting the wise men and shepherds ready for their trip. She has loaded them up in the minivan, the bus and even the tractor trailer to get them to the stable.
Taylor also wrote letters to Santa at the mall. They consisted of "Taylor" and "Chase" - she said he should know the rest. Chase was at school when this happened and he has asked to go back and give a better report to Santa!
Speaking of Santa, we went to see him....before Thanksgiving. I just don't mention it and then it's like it didn't happen that early. No lines, you can't beat it.
Taylor was partially on board until Emmy cried and then she was out! I think she just needed an excuse. MeMa has pictures of me in Santa's lap screaming....why do the grandkids get off so easy?!
So again, we have the classic family Santa photo.
Back at home they got the advent calendars ready. The countdown has begun!
Taylor received a late birthday gift in the mail yesterday and it was like an early Christmas for her!
She was lounging by the pool with Barbie in no time.
Santa might be able to lighten his load. I think we're stocked.
Even Chase got in on the birthday action. He got a Duck Dynasty Christmas shirt. He has already worn it, washed it and worn it again - all since 2pm yesterday. Poor teachers will be tired of seeing that shirt by Christmas! He loves it.
