Clearly we have trouble remembering to put pictures on the blog because we are just exhausted. That or we just spend most of our time in the car these days. The ride to baseball practice is a little long and Taylor didn't quite make it.
My favorite of Chase's schoolwork that he's brought home this year....The first picture is of him wanting to buy a Derek Jeter jersey and it was $50 and I said no. The caption says "I don't get what I want." The second picture is me saying yes, you can buy the jersey because it is $1. The caption says "I get what I want." He is a trip.
Taylor didn't understand why Max wouldn't play "dogs" with her.
Max felt like even less of a dog after his haircut.
The second week of races was even more exciting than the first. Taylor's competition grew too!
We've discovered a competitive side that we never knew was in her. She straight smoked 'em this time. She knew what to do and she didn't mess around!
Taking a picture of Taylor and accidentally caught a proud dad smile...you don't get that one when you ask him to smile for a picture!
She was a happy camper, along with one of her favorite fans.
The boys turned it up a little bit too.
I never would have guessed that these races would have been so exciting to them.
There's also been some baseball....Chase is running away from the camera to get the ball and is going to throw it to Bryce who is running to first base. They got a couple of outs that inning!
Someone took my camera for a while and it came back with this picture on it!
Race week #3, ready to run!
Taylor got a little too competitive on this one and kept looking back to see where the next girl was. She looked like she was going to try to bump her off course at one point! They ended up with a first place tie.
Chase decided he wasn't going to let his sister one-up him on anything. They must have gotten this competitive nature from me.....oh wait, nope. I would be at the back of the line passing out snacks.
He managed to pull of a 2nd place finish but still has his eye on 1st. We get a week off before the next race and they are not happy about it!
