Megan politely informed me that despite all that was going on, that was no excuse not to blog! I tried to do it a few days ago and the website wasn't working. Just now, I went to upload the pictures and realized it's only a day shy of a month since the last post! Time flies. Here's the recap:
Taylor finally finished up her soccer season. It seemed to last forever!
Max was a good fan and came to her last game. He didn't appreciate the hug.
Receiving her medal.
Taylor enjoys a good selfie.
And if she can't get the right angle, she asks her brother to help out.
I blew all the leaves into a big pile for the kids one day while they were at school. Only bad thing about a big pile is you have to clean it up!
But first, some fun.
28 bags later, we had a clean yard....and a sore back!
I got to tag along on Chase's field trip to the Henricus Hustorical park to learn about the Powhatan Indians. This is how we both feel about a long bus ride!
It was nice once we were there though.
Chase got to help out in demonstrating the hunter.
Pretending to be a deer.....I don't think this really worked!
Picnic lunch.
Everything that Taylor brought home from school in November revolved around her love for Allie Cupcake.
Chase with his personalized jersey for the winter season.
Taylor got to go to the SPCA for a birthday party. She decided none were as cute as Allie Cupcake. Thank goodness. One is enough.
Celebrating with her friends from school.
Donut stop!
The kids' school had a fundraiser with the Harlem Wizards. At one point they had everyone get out their phones and the players came around and took selfies. It was a good time.
Taylor made a sign....and only held it up for this picture!
Taylor had a Thanksgiving program at school.
Then it was finally time to head to Cincinnati for Thanksgiving and pick up Allie Cupcake!
First sleepover with Allie....wasn't a whole lot of sleeping going on!
Her first shopping trip!
Chase loves to hold her. She probably doesn't enjoy it as much but she's a good sport.
The Florence mall carousel. A must for every trip!
Allie met a friend while playing out in the yard one day.
IHOP to wrap up the trip!
Allie was the best traveller!
She napped and served as co-pilot.
Back at home she's learning the ropes. She's found plenty of trouble around here but lucky for her she's pretty cute!
The kids still like her - that's helpful!
Probably won't be putting any gifts under the tree anytime soon!
See what I mean?!
"Helping"
Max still does not acknowledge her presence!
We finished off this past weekend with Cheyenne's 1st birthday and some Christmas activities at church. This was my only pic from the weekend!
