It's Almost Summer!!

Only 2 more school days until summer freedom!!

We've been making a better attempt to wear Allie Cupcake out each day. It's working a little bit!!

It's finally summer weather around here!

We went to a garden volunteer party at the kids' school. They got to help paint the garden benches.

Memorial Day weekend started at the pool!

The weather was great but the water was freezing.  Kids don't even care!! 

They do think we go to the pool just for thexample snack bar!

After a memorial day cookout athe my parent's house, we played a family whiffle ball game.  Lost the ball in the storm drain before we even started!

We fixed that problem!

Later, it was the trees causing the trouble.

No problem....

At one point we had a ball, a glove, and an apple picker stuck in the tree.

Still a good time.

Taylor and I took Allie to the dog park for the first time. She loved it and it wore.her.out!!!!

This past weekend we took a road trip!

First stop, to meet baby Etta James!

Later Saturday, we drove down for Olivia'so wedding. It was at a really cool country barn location.

We made our way home Sunday and have been just hanging out enjoying the weather!

Dave has a conference downtown this week. Taylor begged to use the phone in his room to make a "real" call since she had never used a phone with a cord before. Poor kid!
