These two clowns got to have a sleepover night while the girls were together at Emmy's house. They picked Chen's for dinner.....of ALL the places we could have gone?!?!? They were obviously ok with their choice!
Chase finally mastered riding his bike and now he won't.get.off! I joke that he's joined the neighborhood bike gang.
He still makes time for clowning around when he has to be inside and can't ride his bike!
All smiles before school one morning. If only every morning were this happy! Most are, can't complain!
Allie's favorite chore to help with.
Taylor finally brought her friend Sydney home from school with her one afternoon. Her brother, Jack, is Chase's friend and he came too, just ducked out of the picture!
They are two peas in a pod for sure!
Sunglasses day at school! Taylor wore her sunglasses dress to shake things up!
Sadly, we had to say good-bye to my grandfather last month. This is one of my favorite pictures of him with the boys.
I, mistakenly, thought it would be a good idea to take both dogs to the groomers at the same time. Max was outdone with the idea. Allie got so excited she pooped in the middle of PetSmart...not so easy to clean up with 2 dogs attached to you and one won't move and one won't stay still!! Quite an adventure.
Speaking of adventure, Dave's driving must be like riding a roller coaster.! We went down a bridge worthy of throwing our hands up in the air!
The Whitlocks/Caddells vs. the DC Metro.....we looked like, eh, serious tourists.
Can't beat the fun though!
Fun at the Nationals game!
Snacks are always the best part.
Harper and Harper checking out Harper!
Tip #1....take PaPa to the gift shop. Matching shirts for all.
The boys already had theirs, but the girls got in on the action.
Clearly, it was an exhausting trip!
Chase and Bryce have been joining in on the monthly trip downtown to take food to the homeless in the park there. They were tasked with carrying the purses this day so I told them I was taking a picture of it!
Still trying to figure out how to wear this girl out. Ran 2 miles with her and she was still pulling on the leash the whole way!
We finally bid farewell to the "big green chair." It will still live on just not here anymore. It was hard to let it go, but it was time!
Since I started shopping for new living room furniture, Grandma decided she might want some too. I took her shopping one day and she kept getting stuck in the recliners! Told her I was taking a picture before I helped her out!
Allie thinks it's great that we got this new chair by the window for her! It spends most of its time covered by a blanket now!
Kids like their new spots too! Waiting for new carpet to come next week and then it's all done! Walls got painted since this picture!
Still helping with chores.
Chase casting his vote when we went to look at carpet. He did not win!
My painting helper!
Mid-project! Looking better though!
Dave was off for Columbus Day so we snuck the kids out of school early to go apple picking and donut eating!
We're getting better at the family selfie. Taylor was wishing she'd remembered the selfie stick!
The main reason we go.
The kids had their school fundraiser fun run this week. It was, as they said, fun!
I worked the water booth. I have never poured so many mini-cups of water so fast in my life. These kids were well hydrated.
By the time Chase's group got out there the ground was MUDDY. Those kids were a mess and falling down left and right. Chase managed to stay on his feet but his shoes took a beating!
Taking advantage of the well-prepared water with his running buddy!
