Halloween & Birthday & More

A few random pics to kick things off:
 Greetings from Allie Cupcake!
Taylor and her sidekick Sydney eating lunch at school.
FaceTime with Etta....she looks as confused about Chase's hotdog costume as the rest of us!
Chase, however, was very confident with his choice.  It fit his personality a little too well!
I found this picture on my phone and it cracked me up.  Allie is always at my side and often times my hands are on my head wondering what she's up to now!  Looks like she had worn me out this time!
The photographer apparently took a chipmunk hot dog selfie too!
Speaking of hot dogs, Allie got a halloween costume too!
Taylor was pumped to see the birthday presents start to show up!
 Yippee!
Barbie camper!  Chase very willingly helped her try it out! Too funny.
Taylor literally likes to "hang out" during Chase's baseball games.  This day she found Kathryn to hang with her!
Last Friday was a big day for the Taylor-bug.  First up, she was up early to get dressed up for the good citizen award ceremony at school!
She received an award from her teacher for being "responsible."
She knows the drill as to what camera to look at first!  :)
Dave couldn't make it to the ceremony so I picked up Grandma and Emmy as back ups!
Emmy just happened to pick the exact right outfit to wear! ;)

This is Taylor's valentine guy from last year.  His mom dragged him over for a picture in case we need it in their wedding slide show one day.
They finally cooperated for a quick pic!  At least he's an award-winner. ;)
Friday night the fun continued at Taylor's birthday party at the SPCA.
The kids got to pick a stuffed animal and then decorate a "home" to put it in.
Hula hoops seemed to be the activity of choice.

I feel like this must be the room the bad cats get sent to.  That poor cat.
Trying to figure out how to get us to take a kitten home.  DID.NOT.WORK!
 The birthday crew!

This little pup drew the short straw for the party visit!

 Cheyenne was obviously thrilled.

Back at home, Allie has decided that it's fun to drag in TREES at night, on my new carpet. Never brought a tree in on the old carpet!!!
The fun continued over the weekend.  Taylor helped me get ready for trunk or treat at church.
We had around 10,000 pieces of candy to hand out!!!
Trunk or Treat time!  Football players, hot dog, and a peacock!

Going to bed for the last time as a 6-year old!
 Happy 7th Birthday!
Sadly, she had to celebrate her birthday by getting a check-up and a flu shot. Chase got in on the action too.  They were quite entertaining while we waited for the doctor.
It did get them out of school early and we did have lunch at Chick-fil-a afterwards!
 More birthday fun at home!
Chase picked out his own gift for her and apparently did pretty well!  Excuse the mess behind her.  The closets had to be emptied to get new carpet put in and I'm still in the process of cleaning out and putting back!
For her birthday dinner, Taylor requested Bob Evans.....not your typical 7-year old request!
The boys were happy with their piggie pancake platters.
Taylor wanted to go there for their chicken and noodles.  She didn't even want the chicken...or the noodles....basically we went their for chicken broth.  But she was pleased as a peacock about it!
After dinner it was back home for another birthday cake.

We finished off the birthday night with another FaceTime chat with Etta.  She's still not sure what to think about Chase and Taylor!
She was hoping to lose a tooth on her birthday but it was just one day too late!!! She looks hysterical now - big hole!!
