Well, it's nearly the middle of December!!!! I've realized that putting off bloging only makes it take a lot longer when I finally sit down to do it! This is my "family photo album" though, so I have to catch it up! Here goes!
Flashback to Taylor's birthday - seems like forever ago! She loved seeing gifts arrive in the mail!
She sat and admired the new boots for awhile!
Can't even remember why we took this picture!
Taylor decided to gonfor a shorter haircut now that she's 7!
Chase went for a more mature look too!
Speaking of growing up....school pictures. 1st and 3rd grade.
Taylor's friend Kathryn took her to see the play Junie B. Jones for her birthday. She loved it!
The other front tooth got really loose, really fast. Like freaked me out to see it hanging like this! She ran around chasing me with it sticking out.
Luckily, it fell out fast!
Chase will kill me for this picture in a few years but I had to save it! He was excited to show off his new slipers. Hard to miss them!
Pajama Day at school!
We had family pictures taken by coincidence right after Chase lost his front teeth and I love them. I wanted to make sure we got pictures taken while Taylor's teeth were missing too!
They were good sports!
And I got exactly what I wanted!
We've had a tree growing in our gutter for a long time now. We finally got it out but considered leaving it there and putting ligts on it for Christmas!
Speaking of Christmas, we went to see Santa! I promise there's a picture of the kids with Santa but I don't have it here now!
We took a Thanksgiving road trip to visit þe family!
First stop is ALWAYS Skyline!!
The kids get just as excited about it as we do!
Dave made us take a trip down memory lane back to the college where we met.
The kids were less than thrilled with the idea.
But they played along well and smiled for the picture....so we could leave!
I did a TERRIBLE job taking pictures on this trip!! the kids thought Dave & Busters was more fun than the college tour!
Clearly, traveling is exhausting.
Clearly.
No time for sleeping when there's a cute baby to play with!
Etta is a good sport!
Taylor might like her just a little! :)
The game of the day was Pieface Showdown. The kids got it from Kerry's boyfriend, Brett, and made everyone play along. It was pretty funny.
And a friendly game of Pictionary. Good thing Dave has other talents! :)
More Pieface at the next stop!
Santa spotting at Chuck E. Cheese!
On the road home!
Found this gem on my phone. :)
We made the vacation complete with a stop at the West Virginia pool resort! ;)
Then it was back home to be reunited with our favorite furry friend.
We quickly got started on the Christmas decorations!
We went out to the Kirby's house for a bonfire. The new puppies were a hit!
If the hat fits....and keeps your ears warm...wear it!
I bought the kids Christmas jammies knowing full well it would get met with mixed reviews!!
He's a good sport though. Told him he only got to open presents on Christmas morning if he's wearing his reindeer pjs!
This kid rarely stops smiling so when he did we went straight to the doctor. Strep throat. Got him so medicine and he had to stay home from school the next day so it wasn't too bad!
While Chase was "sick", Taylor and I left the boys at home that night and came home to this in the yard. I guess a shopping trip made him feel better?!?
Craz sock day at school. That's his superhero pose.
The kids were in a Christmas play at church and had some fans come to see them!
Mary and Joseph....
All the fans. I love this picture with all 4 kids, 2 great-grandmothers and a great- aunt!!
They often request their own table at dinner now. We should record the conversations.
Someone is always looking for attention.
At the vet, she can't wait for someone to come in.
Can't stand the wait!
Taylor had a piece of art in a show at the local library.
It's a picture of her, Chase, Bryce, Emmy, Sarah and Hannah.
Last night I put together a Parent's Night Out event at church. The kids had a Christmas party while the parents got a free evening. It was a crowd!
My favorite part of the evening...dinner - manger scene hotdogs and fries....see it? Yep, we ate baby Jesus.
Today gave us a rare quiet evening at home so we did some baking. Taylor made sugar, with a side of cookie! More fun coming soon!!!
