 We finally made it (with most of our stuff) to our new house!!

 Our pre-move in picnic.  Max is ever-hopeful.

 Moving Day!  

It was quite the operation.  7 trucks, 2 minivans and even more people.  It was amazing.

 Checking out the rooms for the first time.

 When we came to do the final walk-thru of the house Taylor was some kind of mad that her room didn't have a bed in it.  She was happy to see her bed made it over.

 And now some kudos for my lovely husband who managed to sneak flowers to the house in the midst of moving madness. He did admit that after he had the idea, he drove to the house and got to the driveway before he realized he actually forgot to pick up the flowers :) Impressive.

 We have our first of what I imagine will be many house guests now that we actually have room for them!  Grandma Edwards made it to town to visit.  We made a trip to Hobby Lobby today for some new house accessories.  Dangerous move.

 A few of our finds - the wall hangings for above the re-purposed cabinet.  Dave did not want to move this cabinet over from our old house.  I made him give me a week to prove it was worth keeping.  After a coat of paint he was convinced and now it's a keeper!

 Can't see them very well here, but we picked up the words on the wall to the left.

 Some new wall art for Chase's room.  He was excited to see that it wasn't all "girl stuff" at Hobby Lobby.  

 He picked out the hook so he will have a  place for his backpack when he starts preschool.

 Taylor was pulling stuff in the cart left and right.  We settled on pink glitter letters and a tree and a few other trinkets she couldn't pass up.  The girl is a shopper.

This came from Bed Bath and Beyond but was new to the wall today.  Unfortunately, the pictures are of complete strangers for now.  We'll get there one day!
