Since Last Time

I was on an April blog roll for awhile and then....it stopped!  Here's what we've been up to:
Chase's school had math and art night.  Since it rained out baseball for like the 42nd time, we decided to go.  He is having more fun than it might appear.
Taylor had the most fun by far.  We stayed until they kicked us out.
Speaking of school, someone is now registered for kindergarten!  She took Emmy with her to share in the excitement.  She would have been just fine for me to leave her there then.  September seems too far away to her!
She managed to talk me in to getting all the goodies.  They even have school hair bows now.  She NEEDS one!
We stopped by to see Chase at lunch while we were at school.  He was pumped to see Emmy.
To complete their big day, there was some Mall Madness...
and salads for lunch?!  As you can tell, the fried chicken stayed closer than the salad!
Chase is STILL waiting to play his first baseball game of the season.  The rain, and postponement for the potential of rain has killed the start of this season.  He did get a uniform and if all goes well, he'll finally get to wear it on Wednesday!
Soccer has worn Taylor out.  It's rough!
The only plus side of Chase's games being cancelled was that we got to see Bryce in action!
The girls go for the snacks.
There was an epic battle in our house over this outfit.  It was worn last summer as a strapless swim cover up.  She wanted to wear it as a dress to church.  We compromised (finally) on making it a skirt!
Chase's baseball coach told him he needed to get a mouth guard. ( I don't know why either!) I had no clue that it would be this funny!
I wish I had made a video of trying to put it in the first time.
This is as good as it gets.  He thinks he could play ball and wear it at the same time.  I'm thinking not.
Chase found instastitch on my phone and created this gem on his own.
There have been a couple of more races.  Last week was in the pouring rain!
Some man I don't know directed kids I don't know under my umbrella.

The rain didn't slow them down though!
Taylor is finally getting a little more relaxed about trying a new hairdo or two!

Fun at baseball practice!
Practices can be brutal so luckily we've been close to a playground!
I got my first call from the school nurse on Friday.  Chase had to come home early with a stomachache.  He was looking rough when I picked him up but within a couple of hours he was back to his usual self.
Unfortunately, Taylor didn't fare so well.  She woke up sick in the middle of the night Saturday but was good to go by Sunday morning.  She was bummed to miss craft time at church so she created her own fun at home.  Here's hoping for no more sickness and more baseball games!
